This Privacy Policy applies to our entire web site, administrative offices, servers, and all other facilities. 

Protecting your privacy is important to us. We hope the following statement will help you understand how Hydropool.com collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us on our site.

I. What information is being collected online.
When you browse our site, we collect certain types of information from you.  First, when you register, we collect your billing information so we may set up an account for you.  When you place your first order, and choose to register, we will collect shipping information, credit card information and a password.  Credit card information is not permanently stored for both registered and non-registered users.  Upon completion of your first transaction, you will be able to access this information over our secure servers for standard account maintenance features such as: order status updates, order history, etc.
 
For customers who choose to not register.  All information collected during the checkout process is used for completing this specific transaction only.  No personal information is stored.
 
WE DO NOT STORE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER.
For added security, it is only used to complete each transaction and will not appear when you login to expedite future orders.  Even if you are registered, you must provide a credit card number for every transaction. 

In addition, when you return and make subsequent purchases, we will be able to expedite the transaction by completing the order form for you. This adds a significant level of safety for you because we will not need to collect your credit card number from you for future orders because we will have it on file thus eliminating the need to re-transmit credit card information for every order.

II. How we use or share the information you collect.
We will not sell or provide any of your personal billing, shipping, or profile information to any individual, company, or marketers  under any circumstances.  Your prior approval will never be requested because this information is not for sale.  The purpose of collecting information from you, is to make you shopping experience easier, more satisfying, and faster, not for sales to marketing firms.

IV. How we protect your information online.

Data Encryption: If you are using a security-enabled browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer Netscape Navigator, FireFox, or Safari), the information you send us regarding your purchase is encrypted, making it extremely difficult to read even if it is wrongly intercepted. The Hydro Pool & Spa, Inc. store utilizes industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of all data required for the submission of an online order.  Information protected includes name and address as well as all other personal information.  In addition, all credit card numbers and information is protected.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 800-4-MY-POOL, or contact us, and a representative will be happy to take your order over the phone.  Also you may shop online and have a copy of your shopping cart and an order form sent to you via e-mail for submission via regular mail of fax.

V. Changes to our Privacy Policy
Changes will always be posted online to this page.  In addition, all customers who are registered, and those who are on the opt-in e-mail newsletter list, will receive an e-mail notification of any changes that are made to our Privacy Policy.
