By continually killing bacteria, a sanitizer provides protection for swimmers. This important role makes the sanitizer the most critical product in pool care. That's why BioGuard® has made sanitizing the first step in pool care programs. BioGuard Chlorinating products come in several forms for your convenience. They offer efficient, continuous protection against bacteria.

 - Calcium Hypochlorite Granules
 - 47% available chlorine
 - pH of 1% solution, 9.0
 - Non-stabilized
 - Product is completely soluble
 - Dissolve only when the pump is on
 - 1 lb. of calcium hypochlorite per 10,000 gallons increases CH 3-4 ppm

Directions:

 - Balance the water according to label directions
 - Stabilize the pool to 30-40 ppm cyanuric acid with BioGuard Stabilizer 100
 - With the pump running, add 1 oz. CLC2 per 1,000 gallons
 - For bleachable surface pools, pre-dissolve CLC2 in a bucket of water prior to addition. Always add product to water.
 - For white plaster gunite pools broadcast CLC2 directly into pool. (NOTE: Initial application of stabilizer is necessary to prevent excessive loss of chlorine residual due to ultra-violet degradation)
 - For maintenance, apply 4-6 oz. per 10,000 gallons daily
