BioGuard Silk Smart Stick sanitizers are 1/2 pound, compressed cartridges of concentrated chlorine plus Smart Guard chlorine protector. Silk Smart Sticks are a totally unique sanitizer which last so long that "Once a Week" applications are all that most pools require.  They are completely soluble with no binders and will not cloud the water. For use only in skimmers.  Not for use in chlorinators or floaters. Because Silk Smart Sticks virtually stop dissolving when the pump is off, they do not cause chlorine build up or pH reduction in the skimmer.  Silk Smart Sticks release chlorine more uniformly over an extended time period assuring consistent chlorination and bacteria prevention.

Smart Shock is the preferred shock product for the BioGuard Care System. Weekly use of Smart Shock keeps the water crystal blue and sparkling. It oxidizes organic contaminants that cause cloudy water, musty odors and eye irritation. It also kills bacteria and algae, and clarifies the water using a filter enhancer. Smart Shock buffers the pH to provide brilliantly clear water with no cloudy residue and without increasing the pH.
