One of the SoftSwim accessory items, SoftSwim Filter Aid and Flocculent
improves filtration by trapping small particles that normally pass through the
filter. SoftSwim Filter Aid and Flocculent is one of the quickest water
clarifiers available by settling clouding particles to the bottom of the pool to
be later vacuumed.

Sand and Cartridge Filters:
Pre-dissolve 0.5-1.0 lb in bucket for pools between 10,000 and 35,000
gallons and pour slowly into skimmer with pump running
Run filter continuously until water clears
If pool does not clear, clean the filter and repeat as necessary
Backwash after 48 hours or if the filter rises above 10 psi above clean
Backwash and clean filter according to manufacturer’s instructions
For pools between 10,000 and 35,000 gallons, pre-dissolve 1-2 oz of
product into clean bucket of pool water
Slowly pour solution into skimmer with pump running
Filter continuously for 24-48 hours
Backwash after 48 hours or when filter pressure rises above 10 psi over
clean filter pressure
Use As Flocculent:
Chemically clean filter according to manufacturer’s instructions
Make sure water is properly balanced
Add 1 lb per 6,500 gallons of water to clean bucket
Mix with 1 gallon of water per each pound of product
Broadcast solution over entire pool
Allow 24-48 hours for product to settle at bottom of pool

You may return an item sold to you by Hydropool.com up to 30 days after purchase. The product must be in good condition, unused, in original packaging, and must have all parts, accessories and paperwork; returns without these requirements and/or guidelines will not be accepted.
A restock fees of 15% will apply if items are deemed to be in non-returnable condition. In addition, all orders requiring a direct signature upon delivery that are not received on account of the customer will have a 15% restock fee applied should the order be returned and shipped back to Hydropool.com.
Any claims to missing parts, items or damaged goods for any orders must be made within 30 days of delivery date. We are not able to credit your shipping and handling fees if the wrong product was ordered due to customer error. However, if you received the wrong products due to an error on our behalf, we will pay for the return services fees and you will receive a full refund or exchange.
To return an item to Hydropool.com, please access your account and fill out our simple return authorization request. You will then be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. Any items returned without an RMA number will be refused. We will process your refund upon receipt of the returned items.

All products must include original paperwork, parts & accessories, and everything accompanied with the product. These products require additional return information prior to being shipped back.
Customer is responsible for any/all return shipping charges. Some returns may have a 15% restock fee that will be deducted from your refund. Restock fees are generally applicable when the returned product is found to not be in re-sellable condition, has been installed or attempted to be installed, or does not include all original items, the return will be refused.
