Product Information

Suspended metals in pool water are a source for potential staining. BioGuard Pool Magnet performs two important functions. First, BioGuard Pool Magnet ties up iron, copper, and manganese to prevent staining of pool surfaces. Second, it aids in the removal of relatively fresh stains. In areas where metals are found naturally in the source water, regular use of Pool Magnet helps keep the metals from becoming a problem.

Dosage Directions:

  • Use 32 oz. per 10,000 gallons per 1.0 ppm metals up to 3 qts. per 10,000 gallons.
  • If pool has been shocked wait 24-48 hours before applying this product.
  • Product should be added when chlorine or bromine residuals is 1.0-3.0 ppm.
  • This products effectiveness is reduced when chlorine or bromine residuals exceed 3.0 ppm.
  • Apply directly to the pool water
  • Use in conjunction with BioGuard Sparkle Up
  • Temporary clouding may occur upon addition
  • Maintenance dose is 3 oz. per 1,000 gallons every two weeks

  • We do not ship to PO Boxes or APO / PPO Addresses

  • Items shipped via Freight Service, such as pool heaters, will only ship via ground service.
  • All orders shipping to Maryland will incur a 6% sales tax charge
  • Some items, including hazmat, may require a Direct Signature upon delivery.
  • Orders containing small and light-weight items may ship via FedEx SmartPost or USPS.

Order Returns

You may return an item sold to you by up to 30 days after purchase. The product must be in good condition, unused, in original packaging, and must have all parts, accessories and paperwork; returns without these requirements and/or guidelines will not be accepted.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful on order requiring a direct signature, a 15% restock fee may be applied should the order be returned to by the carrier.

Any claims to missing parts, items or damaged goods for any orders must be made within 30 days of delivery date. We are not able to credit your shipping and handling fees if the wrong product was ordered due to customer error. However, if you received the wrong products due to an error on our behalf, we will pay for the return services fees and you will receive a full refund or exchange.
