Jack's Magic Stain Solution #2 - The Copper and Scale Stuff 10 lb
The Copper and Scale Stuff is designed to safely and effectively remove
copper stains and scale from all types of pool surfaces without draining the
pool. In most cases, The Copper and Scale Stuff is more effective than acid
washing the pool, and will save both time and money. Please note that you must
bypass heater when using this product.

- Can I use the Copper and Scale Stuff with an ionizer or Nature2
system?
Yes.
- How long will this treatment take?
Depending on the severity of the stain, this treatment may take
anywhere from 48 hours to several weeks.
- What happens during the treatment if my dog gets into the pool?
When doing this stain treatment, we do not recommend pool use by
people or pets due to the pH being below the normal levels. During this
stain treatment, the pH is often in the low 6.0 range. By comparison, most
soft drinks are a pH of 4 to 5.
- Now that I've done this stain treatment, I cannot get a chlorine
reading; why?
When performing this stain treatment, the chemical will cause a
combined chlorine reading for as much as 30 days. You should not try to
shock out the combined chlorine for two weeks following the treatment. Be
sure that you are testing both free and total chlorine to avoid
over-chlorinating.
- Do I still add acid if my pH and Alkalinity are low?
Yes, we recommend following the instructions in most situations. If
you aren't sure, please call 800-469-7665 and speak to one of our
technicians.
- How long should I run my pump after adding The Copper and Scale
Stuff?
You should run your pump continuously for duration of the stain
treatment.
